David Brewer is chairman of CPR Regeneration and has been a businessman in Cornwall throughout his life. He is chairman of Brewer & Bunney Limited, which he founded with David Bunney in 1972. Brewer & Bunney are the UK's largest distributor of commercial laundry machines for Electrolux Industrial Laundry Systems. He is the immediate past chairman of the Cornwall Chamber of Commerce & Industry, a member of the Cornwall Economic Forum and the Cornwall Business Partnership. David is a member of Cornwall College Council, Camborne and the past vice chairman of the Education Action Zone. He is also a director of Cornwall Care.
In joining CPR Regeneration, as its new Chief Executive Officer, Nigel Tipple brings with him 15 years' experience gained in the delivery of major regeneration programmes in Yorkshire. Among his responsibilities were the development of public/private partnerships to deliver key industrial and commercial projects resulting in the creation of thousands of new jobs and the reclamation of extensive areas of derelict land. He was actively involved in the management and delivery of the Yorkshire Objective One programme. Earlier in his career he spent time within Leeds City Council where he was responsible for the development of leisure services, and at the Leeds Development Corporation where he focused on the management and delivery of land reclamation and highways infrastructure capital programmes.
This breadth and depth of implementation experience is underpinned by significant organisational and financial management experience. He holds an MBA and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management.
Steve has been running Flying Start Childcare Services with his wife Sharon for the past 15 years. The business has 9 nurseries including centres in Camborne, Pool and Redruth with its head office also in Redruth. Flying Start now has 100 staff and cares for over 600 children.
A graduate of Cambridge University, Steve worked for IBM and then went on to run the IT Consultancy Division for Coopers & Lybrand South West. Moving to Cornwall in 1993 he has run a very successful IT Consultancy of his own. Assignments include the automation system across the MOD. He specialises in the management of change.
He has been a director of the Acorn Theatre in Penzance and also coached for a number of years at both Camborne and Penzance RFC.
Ian Doble is the Managing Director of Doble Quality Foods, Cornwall's leading independent wholesale distributor of frozen and chilled food. He was born in Redruth and educated at Redruth Grammar School before going on to Harper Adams Agricultural College. A member of the Cornwall Agricultural Council, he has a keen interest in the use and promotion of local produce. He has had a life long interest in renewable and other energy generation and is a Member of the Institute of Refrigeration.
Raoul Humphreys is Deputy Chief Executive for Cornwall College, with a primary focus on Enterprise and Business Development, and Managing Director of the Concorde Group, a commercial recruitment services company. Earlier in his career he served in the Armed Forces and then moved on to qualify as a chartered accountant working with KPMG in the South East and specialising in Corporate Recovery Work. He is a non executive director of Finance Cornwall Partners Limited and a Governor of Pool School and Enterprise College.
Colin has had a successful career mainly in Local Government, working in the municipal engineering field. He started his career in 1969, working for consulting engineers, a water authority and District authorities including Poole, Weymouth and Portland, and East Dorset.
After joining Cornwall County Council in 1988, he progressed to be Deputy Director of Planning Transportation and Estates. This role oversaw strategic policy development and programme delivery, as well as leading on major infrastructure projects which have brought significant improvements to Cornwall's communication infrastructure. He played a significant part in the Council's acquisition and operation of Newquay Cornwall Airport.
During 2009, after leaving the Council, he has acted as both the Managing Director of Cornwall Airport Ltd as well as Interim CEO of Cornwall Development Company. He will now continue in the role of CEO of the Company.

Chris McMellon is an economics and law graduate and a qualified chartered company secretary. He was born in Manchester, and has worked extensively throughout the UK at Board level acting primarily as a group secretary and in-house legal counsel, specialising in coporate governance and legal risk management. These have included senior positions in the construction, paper, food, manufacturing, higher education and tin mining industries.
Chris has lived in Falmouth with his family since 1985 and has an interest in helping West Cornwall develop and meet the aspirations of all those who increasingly choose to live and work here.
Carolyn Rule is the cabinet member for Economy on Cornwall Council, as well as being a board member of Cornwall Development Company (CDC). Carolyn sits on the CPR Regeneration board as a representative of the CDC board alongside the chief executive of that organisation. She was previously a member of Kerrier District council for 10 years and during that time served as chairman of the authority for one year, portfolio holder for housing for two years, economy and regeneration for three years. She was also a member of the County Council representing the St Keverne division for four years until all seven Cornish councils were disbanded in favour of the unitary council we now have, on April 1st 2009. Carolyn supports her husband John in running their 'Cornish Kites' business in Mullion.

Sarah Trethowan owns and manages Camborne based regulatory affairs consultancy TRAC Services Ltd with her husband Jonathan, having launched the company in 2001. The company works with leading pharmaceutical companies from around the world, providing them with a range of specialist regulatory services.
Having moved to Redruth from Wolverhampton with her parents in 1985, Sarah left Cornwall in 1990 to attend university in London, returning in 2001 with her own family to launch TRAC.
Sarah is extremely committed to providing career opportunities in knowledge-based businesses in the County. As a result the company works closely with Unlocking Cornish Potential and has already employed six graduates through this scheme. She is passionate about improving the quality and types of jobs that are available in CPR Regeneration's area and ensuring that businesses receive the right type of support at the right time to help them develop.
